Lay in grid

Lay in grid suspended ceilings are a great way to cover up unsightly pipework or to improve the sound  and heat insulation to a room. Click here or on the photo to take you to our price list. All you  have to do is measure the length by the width of your room then multiply the result by the price  per square metre on the price list.

This diagram shows two different types of tile sat in 24mm standard grid. The first is a butt or square edge ceiling tile that  sits flush with the bottom of the suspension grid. The second is a tegular edge ceiling tile, which protrudes approximately 6mm below the grid, as in  the photograph above.

There are many varying types of ceiling tile on the market; whether you require acoustic or fire performance, we have samples that cover a large selection of  these, which are available on request. We also provide a range of modular lighting which fits into the grid system.

M/f and plasterboard

This type of suspended ceiling comprises plasterboard screwed with drywall screws to a metal grid. The grid is suspended by solid angle which is fixed to channels at 1200mm centres. A further 'top hat' section is then fixed across the channel by means of a clip at 450mm centres. The plasterboard can be either taped & jointed, or skimmed with plaster to provide a smooth finish ready for direct decoration.
